Grace Hinds wows panel of experts with her look for Spring '12
LIM College student Grace Hinds has won the $10,000 grand prize in Lord & Taylors Youve Got the Look Student Stylist Competition.
The look Grace styled was selected by a panel of fashion experts, including legendary designer Carmen Marc Valvo, Lord & Taylors Editor-at-Large Suze Yalof Schwartz, Creative Director Corinne Brohme, and Fashion Director Paula Correri (who is an LIM College alumna) at a special in-store fashion show at Lord & Taylor's Fifth Avenue flagship last night. Voters also weighed in online and by text, with a total of 35,000 votes received.
Grace, who is a student in Prof. Fabrizio Babinos Fashion Styling class, was one of 8 finalists (4 from LIM College and 4 from FIT) who dazzled the judges and audience. The other 3 LIM College finalists were Ayanna Zaire Cotton, Karen Hodgin and Alyssa Spirito. All did an amazing job.
The looks they styled will be on display on mannequins in Lord & Taylors famous Fifth Avenue windows (at 39th Street) until March 10.
